GLOBAL MISSION, CHINA’S PERSPECTIVE
As this year’s special highlight, Davos Digital Future Summit 2019 dedicates one section of its Inaugural program to China’s Role in the 4th Industrial Revolution. The initiative is to explore the path on the bridges of cultural understanding, shared values, and impactful collaborations with innovators, futurists, investors, and creators from a mosaic of diverse perspectives.
WHY
China doesn’t and won’t stop growing in its global impact and it is something everyone must embrace or at least study.
Chinese businesses are gaining market share across industries, tech firms are becoming more competitive and genuinely more innovative. We felt there was a need for a dedicated and safe space during the busy Davos Week to gather networks and insights that are relevant to the country and its future.
HOW
We will cover a range of different topics from entrepreneurship and social innovation to urban development and industries from technology and blockchain to investment and finance.
We apply Davos Week’s multi-stakeholder approach in bringing academia, business, government and the youth together, but we do it all in a casual, relaxed environment for deep insights and impactful conversations.
WHO
We invite members of the official Davos Week delegations from Greater China, as well as innovators and scholars from all over the world that are relevant to the region.
We welcome everyone that is interested to establish a deeper understanding and closer relationship with China. Whether it is for pure curiosity or serious business interest, you must book this day in your Davos calendar.
